Writhing in my bouncy seat

When do you think I'll figure out how to get out of these things? I like to lean to one side or arch my back in order to attempt an escape. It hasn't worked yet, but maybe if I read the directions on this tag, I'll get some tips!

I love my pacifier

I love my pacifier! It's one of my favorite toys. I usually suck on it for a while, take it out of my mouth, examine it very carefully, chew on the hard part and then put it back in for some more sucks. Mommy and Daddy stressed out a lot when I was really little about giving me the pacifier. They even asked the doctor about it. Now, they are so, so very happy that I've learned to pick it up and put it back in my mouth myself, especially at night! My, how things change!

Today I had my 6 month check up at Dr. Sanford's office. He said that I am a healthy, good-natured boy! The down side of being healthy and good-natured is that that gives you the green light to go ahead with the shots! I was a really good boy. I didn't even cry when she gave me the first shot, but the other 3 hurt so I did cry. However, the second my Mommy picked me up off of the table, I was fine! Granny D went with me for moral support and sat in the backseat with me. I ended up falling asleep at the main redlight in Foley and slept like a log the entire way home. No shots at my next check-up, but I will have to go back in a month for a 2nd dose of flu shot, if they have it. Hope you are all having a good week! It's my last week with my Mommy, so we are taking the rest of the week off from daycare. Yippee!

Hey guys! Here are some pics from Thanksgiving at my Granny's house. I had a good time there and then went on to my MawMaw's house to see my Daddy's side of the family. On the way back home, I stopped back by the Hemmert's to see my Great Granny Hemmert and Aunt Barbara who were here visiting from Panama City. It was a big day, but I put on a show all three times. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me. Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving too!

Waaaar Eagle...Hey!

This is me in my stroller getting ready to go for a walk with my Mommy. As you can see, I was dressed in my Auburn gear. We walked around our neighborhood until Daddy came home and then we watched the Iron Bowl on TV. WAR EAGLE! After the game was over, I held up my hand, fingers out and told my Mommy, "Fear the thumb!!" :-) 5 in a row!

Bathtime Fun!

Here I am having some fun in the bath tub. I've graduated to the big boy bath seat, but I can't reach my toys in that. So, Daddy took me out and held me while I splashed and played like a wild man!

Howdy!

Mommy took these pictures of me today wearing my polo shirt and khaki pants. I looked just like my Dad and like such a little man. I had to wear it before it gets cool again and today was a perfect day. Tomorrow I'm going to the daycare lady again. Today I napped for a grand total of about one hour. I only slept for 15-30 minutes at a time and Mommy is about to pull her hair out trying to figure out what to do with me! The weird thing is that I'm not really fussy when I wake up. Maybe I'm just a power napper?? Is there such a thing for babies? Tonight I was fine eating supper and taking my bottle. Then I had a bath, got into my jammies and played for a little while before we read our night-night story. Then it was passy and about three rocks before I was out...I got up just to type this for you. Shhh! Don't tell Mommy b/c she thinks I'm still asleep. It'll be our little secret. ;-) Anyway, I hope tomorrow at daycare won't be too traumatic for me. I think Mommy is going to need some Valium...again. She is very worried, but deep down, she knows that I'll be okay. The weather is supposed to be very bad and she was having second thoughts about taking me, but Daddy reminded her that I'll have to go no matter what the weather is when she goes back to work. It's going to be interesting. Think about me tomorrow! Love you guys!
