Meet Poolie, our Elf on the Shelf! He was given to our family last year by my Aunt Nana. The book that comes with him tells about how this little guy watches over you during the holiday season. Each night, he flies back to Santa to tell him whether you've been good or bad. When he arrives back the next day, he will choose different locations throughout your home to keep watch. You never know where he might be, so it's fun trying to find him each day! When you get your elf, you have to give him a name and write it down in your book. Poolie has been keeping a close watch over our house already this year.

We tried this last year--but Santa has not sent one this year...yet. Our neighborhood friends each have an elf. Our next door neighbors'elf is crazy--he does things like knocking over cereal...and rolling the fan with toilet paper. :)
