My Second Sausage Festival
This was my second Elberta German Sausage Festival. It was a little breezy, but I was comfy in my stroller with my blanket and my hat. I was pretty content just riding around and taking it all in. I didn't get to eat any sausage yet, but I guess that will happen at my
third Sausage Festival in October. I will be there with bells on...Fur das gute leben!! ("For the good life!"--Elberta's original slogan)
Just kidding...
Cups are cool!
I really dig these cups. They used to be for playing in the tub and rinsing me off, but they have now become an all purpose toy. I like to put things in them, roll them around, and throw them. I'm working on my "Cocktail" Tom Cruise moves with them. Daddy says I'll never be able to sneak up on someone because I am usually crawling around the vinyl floor with a cup in each hand...click, clack, click, clack! Personally, I just like the sounds they make.
Going to the Fish Fry
Busy, busy, busy
These are from the day we went to the doctor. I had a little bit of a cough, it was a
Friday, and Mommy thought she'd just take me to make sure my ear infection (right ear) had cleared up. No such luck! The doctor determined that not one, but both of my ears were now infected and he put me on my 3rd kind of antibiotic. I am going to go back in a couple of weeks to see if I am all clear, but if not, we are going to talk to an ENT and probably get tubes. :-( As you can see in the pictures, I'm really not a cranky boy, but the doctor said I should have been screaming my head off. As of this post, I have finished my antibiotic and hopefully, I'm on the road to wellness!
Welcome to the Gun Show! Wanna bi-some or tri-some?

It's twins!!
One of the cows at my Maw-Maw's house had twins today!! We went to see them and they were with their Mommy getting some milk (just like I used to)! They were pretty cute. Here are some pictures for now, but my Mom also took a little video of them. One is much smaller than the other and she was having more difficulty nursing. We think the bigger one had the chance to nurse a little before his little sister was born. I'm sure it happens sometimes, but twin calves are fairly rare. My Daddy said that they've had cows as long as he's been around (and that's a long time ;-) and he's never had twins until now! Ahhh, the miracle of life!
