This is the quilt that I was telling you about yesterday. Isn't is great? Next time we do my room, we're going to do a farm theme with animals and tractors! I love my new blankie!
My Grandpa stopped by today on his way to work. We had a good visit. Cricket got really excited because she loves to play with Grandpa too. I had fun just watching her run around and be crazy! Grandpa also brought by a quilt that my Aunt Betty made for me. It is a cross-stitched farm quilt with my name on it. It is really nice. Mommy is going to hang it up in my bedroom. Grandpa and I stopped to pose for a picture. Aren't we a handsome pair?
Today is my Daddy's birthday. We went to Wolf Bay Lodge for lunch to celebrate. It was my first time going there! I was such a good boy. I sat in my carrier for most of the time and played with some toys. Daddy told me that he was having a good birthday. :-) Don't we look alike in the middle pic with our caps?
I hate tummy time, so it's a surprise that Mommy caught me here with a smile. I think I was laughing at my poodle, Cricket. She is insane when we go outside. She has torn up the cushions on our swing because she thinks there are froggies hiding in it. She's probably right, but I still think she's crazy...and funny.

My Mommy and I do laundry all of the time. She lets me sort Daddy's socks which is a big job as you can see! I think folding laundry is really fun because Mommy fluffs the shirts out over my head and plays peek-a-boo while we fold. I just can't believe how much fun it is every single time she does it. I grin and grin at her so that she knows I like it a lot.
I was going through some pics the other day and realized that I have changed so much! Since I didn't start blogging until I was about three months old, I thought I'd post some pics of the good ol' days in the womb (12/27/05) and in my first week of life. My mom and dad have chilled out a little since then. I think they thought I would break in those first few weeks. They were so worried about doing everything just right for me. Now, I'm ready to play and have fun, so it's a little easier on them...until I become mobile. Then, WATCH OUT!
These are some pictures of me enjoying my favorite novel. It's a great book called "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?" My Mommy's friends Kristy and Kirk sent it to me before I was born. How did they know I would like this one so much? I love to look at the pictures (lots of bright colors) and Mommy even changes some of the words so that my name is in the book! My Daddy likes this one too. I love to read!
Last night my Mom and Dad went to The Beach Club for Mommy's 10 year class reunion. I stayed with my Granny, Grandpa, & Uncle Nick. We had a pretty good time. My favorite sleeping aid (the "milk bar") wasn't there so they had to figure it out. It all worked out okay b/c I was sound asleep when Mommy & Dadddy came to pick me up at about 11. I know my Mommy missed me, but I might have to have a regular date at the Hemmerts. It was fun!
