Nothin' runs like a Deere

Mom snapped some shots of me doing a little yard work on my ol' John Deere. I cut the grass and picked up some leaves. I have my own system of mulching...my own teeth!! That's right, I want to eat the oak leaves. Every time Mommy tells me "no" or pulls my hand out of my mouth, I give her a sneaky smile and go for it again. She caught me having a snack (leftover grits) out of the trash can last week. I guess she didn't like it because the trash can is now stored in the laundry room where I can't get to it and all garbage is disposed of in a garbage bag hanging precariously from the corner of the fridge. I still make a valiant effort about ten times a day to play in the dog water and/or food. I keep 'em on their toes, fo' sho!!!

Socks...a delicacy!

I have a thing with chewing on socks...clean, dirty,my socks, your socks, it makes no difference to me. I have even perfected the art of chewing a sock while also sucking on my pacifier. No small feat, indeed. (Props to Mommy for being quick with the camera on this one!)

What a day!!

Well, today we went to see Dr. Lurton, an ENT in Pensacola, about my poor little ears. On Wednesday, one was infected and by today, both were in sad shape. :-( Last night was not a good night. Anyway, my new doctor gave us some more medicine (more butt-reddening Augmentin) and recommended that I have tubes put in my ears to help the fluid drain. He asked Mommy and Daddy a bunch of questions and told them that it was all Mommy's fault since she had ear infections a lot as a kid and probably has Eustachian tube dysfunction that she has passed on to me. He explained that even as I get older and my Eustachian tube grows and becomes more angled, I will always have this dysfunction. Mommy admitted that she still has "issues" with her ears being very stuffy and hard to drain when she is sick with a cold. Anyway, I am scheduled to get my tubes on May 1st. Hopefully, it will keep me from having all of this trouble, all of the time. I can still get infections in my ears, but at least it won't be from that nasty fluid in there. It's not something that Mommy and Daddy were looking forward to doing, but Dr. Lurton has a very good reputation and they are both comfortable with him. No pictures because I am pitiful with a cold in my nose and both of my eyes. Green stuff everywhere. Hopefully, I'll be better by the end of Mommy's spring break! More to come...

Easter visit with The Hemmerts

Granny, Grandpa and Uncle Nick came to visit me this afternoon. It was a full day, but I was a good boy. I love all of my little bunnies! Check out that smile!

Before we left for church this morning, Mommy snapped these pics of the ice in our flower beds. Crazy weather!

Ready for Church

I had a wardrobe change. Instead of my baby blue, smocked bubble, I wore this cute little velour number to church because of the cold, sleeting, raining weather. I didn't mind and I was still supa-cute!

Look What the Easter Bunny Left Me!

Happy Easter, everyone! Look what the Easter Bunny left at my house! I had so much fun playing with the eggs that it took me a while to get to the other stuff.

Cricket, are you out there?

I like to sit at the back door and look for my best friend, Cricket. In the middle picture, you can see her on the other side of the door, scratching to come back in and play with me. I think it is hilarious!
