Ridin' dirty

Stuck in neutral

This is as far as I go with the crawling thing. I get up on my hands and knees and rock back and forth. When I'm on my tummy, I can push myself backwards all day long (or until I get stuck) and I can spin myself around in any direction. As my Daddy says, I just don't know how to put it in "Drive" yet. They are in big trouble when I figure this thing out!

Playing with some new toys

I am a little boy with a LOT of toys after Christmas. Mommy and Daddy didn't really go crazy getting me a lot of stuff. They got me a book called "My Very Own Name" which is really cool. It has my name and birthday in it and a lot of cool animals. I would highly recommend it as a gift for anyone. Santa brought me some bath toys. Everything else came from my family. I got a wagon and a John Deere tractor. I also got some really cute zoo animals toys and a train to go with them. One of my favorite new friends is my "Aubie" bear (a teddy bear wearing an Auburn letterman's jacket). I just had a fit when I opened him up. He is from my cousin Joni. He went riding with me in my wagon. Mommy is in the market for some new storage options to house all of these toys so she and Daddy don't break their necks.

My little red wagon

I just love my little red wagon. We went up and down the street and I just hollered the whole time. I was trying to tell everyone to come and see me. I was too excited.

Another first

Tonight my meal included another "first". I had my first taste of meat in my Sweet Potatoes & Turkey dinner. It must have tasted mostly like sweet potatoes because I never missed a beat. Mommy also took some video at dinner time of me in my mess waving 'bye-bye'. I've been doing it like crazy since Christmas. I finally got it! I am too cute when my little hand gets to going. The video wasn't my best attempt because I was distracted by gnawing on my spoon. Mommy thinks that more teeth are on the way. I've been chewing like crazy, drooling and I've been congested. We'll just have to wait and see!

Christmas Eve Eve

We went to visit Granny, Grandpa and Uncle Nick tonight on Christmas Eve Eve. It was almost my bedtime when we went, but I was a very good boy and stayed up the whole time. I fell asleep on the way home and only had two or three rocks before I was back out after we got home.

Waiting for Santa

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good boy this year. Please come to visit my house. I will leave some milk and cookies for you. I know you get hungry on Christmas Eve with all of your traveling. I would like some fun toys. I will probably be asleep when you come by, so have a Merry Christmas!

Love,
Freddie

Rockin' and Rollin'

Hi guys! I'm getting up now on my knees and rocking back and forth. As you can see, I don't really know where to go from here. Hopefully, with a little more practice, it will come to me!

Rootin' and A Tootin'!

Okay, the last two posts have been a little vulgar. Here I am rolling around on the floor with my jet propulsion. I am quite gassy these days. If you were wondering, my nose is still yucky, but I am feeling okay. I've been home with Daddy since he's been off most of this week. Tomorrow is my Mommy's last day of work! Yippee!!! She is very happy. She hates to leave me every day, but her students at school are glad to have her back.

Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble!

Don't look if you have a weak stomach! I woke up this morning with a very snotty nose. I haven't been fussy today really, but my nose has been running like a faucet! Mommy could not resist grabbing the camera when this double, triple, quadruple bubble began to form as I played on the floor. Don't worry...she did wipe it immediately after capturing the Kodak moment. I don't like my medicine that the doctor gave me the last time I had this. It is sugar free so it tastes nasty, unlike Tylenol which is so sticky that it must be loaded with sweetener. Anyway, tonight when Daddy was trying to give me my DM drops, I pursed my lips together. I eventually opened up and took it like a big boy, so hopefully, I'll be able to sleep well tonight. More on my condition later!

Ready for bed

Here are some pics of Cricket and I getting ready for bed. Mommy took these right after my bath. I love my soft turtle jammies. Cricket is a total ham. She can't stand for Mommy to take my picture, so she walks back and forth in front of the camera and then finally, just sits down. Nonviolent protest, I guess. Anyway, enjoy these cute shots!
